At one glance, the GEOCHRON^® displays the distribution of sunlight all over the world at any given moment. Plus, as the earth rotates and each day progresses, this sunlight distribution will update itself right before your eyes.

How? Simply look at the illuminated pattern on the world map. The left edge of the pattern indicates the moment of sunrise, while the right edge indicates the moment of sunset. This sunlight distribution pattern changes perpetually, as days and seasons progress.

Manual controls at the bottom of the unit allows the GEOCHRON^® to be moved forward or backward in time. The GEOCHRON^® covers all 24 time zones plus the 16 “non-standard” time zones, even during daylight savings time.

There are nine available vinyl laminate finishes below. There are no upgrade finishes available on the Standard Geochron model.

Trim is available in three choices; black, gold and silver. The trim is a metal extrusion that outlines the map and is also used around the calendar on the lower left of the front panel.

The Original Kilburg model's price ranges from $1795-$2255.

The Original Kilburg model includes a minute analog dial in the top right hand corner. This dial allows the user to tell more accurate time by seeing the exact minute after the hour.

Basic Original Kilburg models include your choice of any of the nine vinyl laminate finishes at the base cost of $1795 (see below for laminate finishes).

The several upgrade finishes include; Brushed Stainless Steel ($2255), Polished Stainless Steel ($2255) , Anodized Aluminum (Black, Gold or Silver, $2110) and a variety of Natural Wood veneers ($2185, see below).

Functionality is entirely identical to the Original Geochron.

The front panel is a choice of five natural wood veneers, but unlike the Original Geochron model, the Boardroom model has a customized molding design (see image to the left) as opposed to a flat edge. This adds to the overall size of the model (widening it by about two inches in width and two inches in height) and presents a much more artistic style.

To help accent the panel, the Boardroom model is designed to be Flush Mounted. With a flush mounted unit, only the front panel is shown on the outside of the wall as the depth of the unit is cradled inside the wall.
